Yippppeeeeeeee!

After signing the papers as proxy for our new co-owner, Juli McCue, we
came back to a whole ‘nother place than the one we left. Instead of going
directly up three flights to our apartment on the top floor and closing the
door behind us as usual, we took out the clusters of keys we’d just been
handed and unlocked all the doors on the vast rez-de-chaussée or ground
floor, which has been locked and bolted against us for three years, and
made a triumphant and thorough inspection. Now you can see the “bones”
of the place, and you can freely imagine what it will look like once our
building is transformed into—
LA MAISON DES ARTS ET LETTRES

  1. How exciting this is! Anne and I look forward to returning to Saignon and La Maison des Arts et Lettres! We'd love to see you again and celebrate this new beginning with you. You are such gracious and gifted hosts. Our time with you was intellectually, creatively, and gastronomically stimulating! We look at Andrew's painting every day and it takes us right back to Provence. Anne continues to pursue her art and credits Andrew's encouragement and instruction for the growth she has experienced this past year. We wish all the best for you as you share the art and soul of Provence with others!
